Accommodation "Pri Martinovih"


Accommodation "Pri Martinovih" is located in the hamlet of Zagora village, which lies at the southernmost point of the Soča valley, in the municipality of Kanal ob Soči.  It is 11 km to Nova Gorica and Gorizia (Italy), 30 km to Tolmin and 62 km to Bovec.

For all lovers of nature and active experiences, we offer overnight stays in a quiet environment in four double rooms, one quadruple room and in two apartments.  Each room has its own bathroom and a small refrigerator. In apartments is also a kitchenette. The rooms and one apartment are located on the 1st floor, accessible by external stairs. There is also one apartment on the ground floor.

The rooms are furnished in a homely and rustic style, which gives a pleasant feeling of warmth.

It will be hard to resist sitting in the yard in front of the house and admiring the surroundings. Blooming flowers, a green lawn and the shade of trees are the perfect relaxation after an active day.

The convenient location of the accommodation provides you with various starting points for trips on foot, by bike, by car or by train. For hiking enthusiasts, nearby is Sabotin hill with caves from the First World War and Sveta gora with a wonderful view of Solkanski bridge, Nova Gorica, Sabotin, Goriška brda, Friuli and the sea. With bicycles, which can be rented at the accommodation, you can ride to the Trnovo and Banjsice plateaus and discover the picturesque landscape with many natural sights. For all lovers of good wine and cuisine, Goriška brda is an excellent destination to spice up your vacation. 
During the summer months, you can cool off in the Soča River or go to Lokve, which lies at almost 1000m above sea level, and cool off in the shade of the canopies of large trees. In the vicinity, there are even more options for spending an active day, such as climbing, rafting, horse riding, MTB track, paragliding or visiting the adrenaline park in Solkan and going down with a zip line over the Soča river. 

Your four-legged friends are welcome, because we also have some pets at the propery.
